Wee Polar Bear Cub

When I was doing Teddy Bear Shows in the 1990s a tiny teddy like this one was very typical for me to make and, in fact, my tiniest mink teddies were my most requested. But for the past 10 years I've only made them occasionally as I continue to explore new themes and designs. But I still love creating my tiny teddies ... and I especially love this Wee Polar Bear Cub.

Good Fortune Panda #5

Good Fortune Panda #5 of 8

This panda was created for my friend and fellow teddy bear artist, Linda Hearn. And lucky me ... after years of email friendship I actually got to meet her in person because she stopped by to visit me (from Canada to Southern California). What a treat! She came to pick up her panda but she also came with lots of treasures that she knew I loved to use with my teddies, such as, tin boxes and fun ice cream dishes and other treasures too. Thank you, Linda !!!!

This is Linda's panda :

Here is lovely Linda holding her panda ....
This is the only Good Fortune Panda I made with one of my sketches on the box:

Easter Bunny

"Easter Bunny"
I made my Easter Bunny early this year.

This is a One Of A Kind creation. This bunny has an unjointed body but the neck is jointed. There is armature throughout for posing. The bunny's design was inspired by this lace bun warmer. When I first saw this bun warmer I immediately visualized a cabbage patch bunny ... a bunny sitting in the middle of the bun warmer surrounded by Easter eggs tucked in the pockets surrounding the bunny.
